Martin, I have the same error message regarding LAME when trying to save any mp3 file and I am using Tiger. This problem appeared only after upgrading to 1.4.4. Unfortunately, I deleted my earlier versions that worked. Can I download an earlier version anywhere?

I too am getting a LAME error message with no detail when trying to save as an mp3. It doesn't matter what settings are used. I am still using OS 10.4.11 and in another topic I see that there maybe some problem with the LAME library used in Amadeus Pro ver. 1.4.4 build 636 not working in Tiger syste...
